Some wedding days feel especially intentional. They’re the kind where you can tell the couple was fully present, soaking in every moment and every memory as it unfolded. Leah and Nick’s Barn at Wight Farm wedding was exactly that. It was relaxed, joy-filled, and centered on connection with the people they love most.
From the very beginning, Leah shared that wedding planning was something she genuinely enjoyed. Rather than letting the process become overwhelming, she and Nick focused on what mattered most to them, creating a day where everyone, including themselves, could truly have fun. That mindset shaped not only their wedding day, but the entire season leading up to it.
For Leah, the most meaningful part of planning wasn’t checking things off a list, but the memories made along the way. Dress shopping with her mom and mother-in-law, shopping with her grandmothers, celebrating at her bridal shower and bachelorette, and attending planning meetings alongside Nick all became moments she’ll carry with her forever. Each conversation and small decision felt like another memory layered into the story of their wedding.
Leah and Nick approached planning as a team, keeping a shared running note of what they had completed and what still needed attention. This simple system allowed them to delegate tasks, accept help from loved ones, and space things out so the final stretch felt calm rather than overwhelming. Their advice to other couples is rooted in that same approach: don’t stress over every detail, remember you’re a team, and trust that your day will be perfect because it’s yours.
Leah’s wedding dress was a beautiful surprise. Even to her! It wasn’t the style she expected to love, but once she put it on, everything clicked. She knew it was the one because she felt beautiful in it. After trying on a few other dresses again, she realized all she wanted was to put that one back on, and that feeling made the decision easy.
Set against the rustic elegance of the Barn at Wight Farm, Leah and Nick’s wedding day felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly celebratory. The classic barn architecture and peaceful surroundings created the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and genuine joy. Everything about the day reflected their priorities, presence over perfection, and connection over details.
After the celebration, Leah and Nick headed off to Sandals in St. Lucia for their honeymoon. They wanted somewhere all-inclusive where they could truly relax, soak up beautiful views, and enjoy uninterrupted time together.
Leah and Nick, thank you for trusting us to capture your Barn at Wight Farm wedding. We wish you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments, just like the day you promised forever to one another.
