Emily and Eric {Forest Park Engagement}

Emily and Eric chose Forest Park for their engagement session because Emily was in love with the rose garden and when I went to check it out, I immediately fell in love with the aquatic gardens. We started out in the rose garden.  The flowers at Forest Park are so pretty!  We got just about a few minutes in, when we heard the first rumbles of thunder.  After a few panicked glances, we decided to power through unless we saw lightening.  I’m so glad we continued our session.

Eric and Emily danced in the rose garden, they exchanged some really sweet glances, they laughed together, and they got to share a few romantic kisses.

Then we headed down to the duck pond and the bridge.  I’m not quite sure what that building is, but it sure is cool!  The rocks walls are awesome!  Eric even lifted Emily for a sweet romantic “The Notebook” kiss!

Lastly, we headed up to the aquatic garden.  It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Forest Park.  Since I’ve been there, they have changed it up so much.  The water gardens are gorgeous!  And the animals!  We saw (and heard!) frogs, birds, deer and even a mama and baby duck.  So sweet!

I am honored Emily and Eric chose me for their engagement photography.  Thank you, Eric and Emily.  I’m looking forward to more planning with you!

Sydni & Filip’s intimate Wickham Park wedding was filled with intention, presence, and so much love. Surrounded by blooming gardens and their closest people, they took their time, soaked it all in, and focused on what mattered most- getting married.

This day was heartfelt, meaningful, and beautifully true to who they are. So honored to be the ones to document it.
