Christina and Jason {Barkhamsted Reservoir Engagement}

So, this was not the engagement session that Christina and Jason planned.  For our session, we learned that we can’t control Mother Nature!  When we first met and started planning in the middle of fall, Christina said that they wanted to do their session soon, because they are not winter people.  We planned their session for two weeks later.  And then, bam.  We were hit with four inches of fall snow three days before their session!  Luckily, the warm weather melted much of it, but they were a little bummed we still had snow on the ground.  I hope, and I do think, that after seeing their images, they have changed their minds.  The snow made for a truly beautiful backdrop and although the scenery at Barkhamsted Reservoir and Saville Dam is always gorgeous, I think the sun and snow gave them stunning scenery.

Jason and Christina did a really great job in front of my camera and I’m so looking forward to their upcoming wedding.

To see Christina and Jason the next time they’re featured (they do have a wedding coming up!), make sure to subscribe here.  To see more images, follow me on Facebook and Instagram.

Please leave Christina and Jason some love and congratulations below in the comments section!
