Lindsey and James {Log Cabin Wedding}

Ah!! Where do I start?! I loved everything about this wedding. James and Lindsey had the BEST wedding, with the sweetest first look, the most emotional ceremony, the most gorgeous views for their portraits, the most fun reception, and I could go on and on! James and Lindsey had the wedding that they dreamed of and I am honored that they chose me to be a part of it.

I met James, Lindsey and Charlotte almost two years ago. In that time, we enjoyed planning their big day together. We met up a few times (and I loved watching Charlotte go from a sweet little baby into an adorable toddler!) to photograph their engagement, work on their engagement book and to talk about their wedding timeline. On the day of the wedding, I got to The Log Cabin before they did. I loved photographing the beautiful venue and the details they chose. Look at those centerpieces! Once the bride and groom arrived (separately of course!) we started photographing them with their friends. It was a blast! And I just love the bridal pictures. How cool is Lindsey’s embroidered shirt? I love the ideas she had for photographs with her best friends and her daughter.

Then, the first look! You all know how I feel about a good first look. I’ve said it a thousand times! There is nothing better! Look at James waiting to turn around! He really tried to rush me!

And then the wedding ceremony. Lindsey was quite possibly the happiest bride I have ever seen. Her tears of joy mixed in with her excited laughs were heartwarming.

I’m having a difficult time coming up with one word to describe their reception. Again, the tears of joy, the love, the laughter, it was just beautiful. I’m going to let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
