I first met Ali and Jake a few months ago when we began planning their engagement and wedding photography at the same time! When they first emailed, they had just gotten engaged and their wedding was to take place in just three months! Although we had a bunch of phone conversations and had emailed back and forth a bunch, when we met for their engagement session, it was the first time we actually spoke face to face! We clicked immediately. I loved this two right from the start!
If you haven’t been able to tell by now, they are two ambitious people. Just a few short weeks before they started planning their wedding, they bought a house! And when you buy a house, what better place to do an engagement session is there, than in your brand new house!
We got to do their lifestyle session in all of their favorite places to hang out together. We shot some in the kitchen (love those!), some in the family room (love those too!) some outside (and those too!) and even in their office (maybe my favorite spot!)!!
I LOVED this session. These pictures will always be meaningful to the couple. Not only are the special because they are of them (!!) but these pictures take place in their first home. I am honored that I got to be the one to take these pictures and to provide these images for them to keep forever.
