Lindsey and James {Engaged!}

I recently met up with Lindsey, James and Charlotte at Northwest Park for their engagement session. Our session was about a year after we initially met, and we just clicked (again!) right away! πŸ™‚ I had a really great time with them. They are so in love and so sweet with one another. I love the natural laughing images that we got and how you can see how happy they are to just be together.

Lindsey loved the barns and the stone wall! I do too! We had fun looking at Pinterest for some inspiration and Lindsey found some really cool stone wall pictures. I also love the lighting in this park around sunset time. It is just to die for. The sun and the tall grasses. Ahhhh. Swoon. We were so close to sunset and Charlotte had already had a busy day. She was such a trooper and so good. She enjoyed exploring the park with her Grandma while we got some images of just Lindsey and James. I also really love the family images we were able to get.

I asked them about how they got engaged. They were engaged in Mystic, CT and that remains one of their favorite places to visit as a family. Shortly after they got engaged, they married in a private ceremony. They’re looking forward to celebrating their love, marriage and family they’re building with the rest of their family in a few months.

Lindsey and James, I really enjoyed this session and I can’t wait for your wedding!

Sydni & Filip’s intimate Wickham Park wedding was filled with intention, presence, and so much love. Surrounded by blooming gardens and their closest people, they took their time, soaked it all in, and focused on what mattered most- getting married.

This day was heartfelt, meaningful, and beautifully true to who they are. So honored to be the ones to document it.
