Vashe and Justin’s Tunxis Country Club Intimate Wedding was the perfect blend of romance, emotion, and a little bit of magic. Tunxis Country Club has such a woodsy, fairy-tale atmosphere, and it never disappoints, especially when the sun dips low and the fairy lights begin to glow. The setting alone feels like something out of a storybook.
We watched the weather closely all day, refreshing forecasts that seemed determined to keep us guessing. Reports changed drastically hour by hour, but Vashe and Justin didn’t let anything get them down, and they went with the flow. When it came time to decide on their ceremony location, they chose a spot that ended up being absolutely perfect for them. And the results were beautiful.
Their ceremony was heartfelt and joyful. Guests learned more about their love story, shared laughs, wiped away a few tears, and celebrated right alongside them. And while the ceremony was undeniably sweet, we have to admit- sorry, Vashe- the real star of the show may have been Oreo. When Oreo walked down the aisle with Vashe’s mom, the entire guest list collectively “awwwed,” and it was one of those unforgettable moments that made the day even more personal.
The celebration continued with a beautiful first dance, followed by Justin’s dance with his mother and an incredibly emotional dance Vashe shared with her own mom. In the background, a slideshow quietly played, showing Vashe growing up alongside her father. It was a powerful and moving tribute that left very few dry eyes in the room.
From the very beginning, Vashe and Justin told us that portraits were the most important part of their wedding day. With that in mind, we spent a good portion of the evening tucked away in the woods, capturing a true fairy-tale portrait session under the trees and twinkle lights. The quiet moments, the connection between them, and the natural beauty of Tunxis made those portraits especially meaningful.
