Mary and Jeremy’s The Union Meeting House and Grassmere wedding was nothing short of magical. From the early fall colors to the stunning architecture, every detail was just perfect for their big day. We were so lucky to capture their love story against the picturesque chapel and surrounding landscape, creating the most breathtaking photos.
From the moment I met with Mary to plan their wedding and in the instant I met Jeremy, I could feel the excitement and love they share. They were absolutely on fire! Their happiness was contagious, and it was so clear how deeply they are in love. Their genuine joy made every moment a delight to capture, and I hope they cherish these images forever.
It was so special to witness the love and excitement as Mary prepared for her big day at her sister’s home. On a personal note, I’ve known a few of these women for decades but hadn’t seen them in many years. It was so wonderful to reconnect, hear their voices, and hug them! The air was filled with love as Mary shared those special moments with her family and friends. One of the most touching parts of the day was when Mary’s dad saw her for the first time in her wedding gown — it was a moment of pure joy. And when she gave her sisters their bouquets, I was trying so hard not to cry right along with them. That hour spent with Mary and her ladies was exactly what I needed for my soul, and I absolutely loved the images we captured.
The ceremony took place at the historic and beautiful Union Meeting House, a perfect setting for their vows. The ceremony was filled with personal touches, including heartfelt readings from loved ones, and it was especially meaningful because Mary’s brother had the honor of officiating. Mary and Jeremy exchanged their own vows, adding a truly personal and emotional layer to the moment. When they shared their first kiss as a married couple, the cheers from their guests were so joyful, and it was such a fun moment to capture!
Mary and Jeremy’s reception at Grassmere was a celebration like no other. The hilarious entrances set the tone for the night, and the heartfelt toasts had everyone in tears. The special dances, full of emotion and love, created lasting memories. The cake cutting was a blast, and the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long! Their wedding party and guests brought so much energy, making the celebration an unforgettable experience.
One of my favorite parts of the day was capturing portraits of Mary and Jeremy with their loved ones. The gorgeous colors of early fall were the perfect backdrop for portraits in front of the historic buildings, and we had a blast with their ring security ensuring everything went smoothly. These two really were the dream couple to photograph!
Let’s talk about details — Mary and Jeremy’s wedding was filled with beautiful touches. The color palette was a perfect blend of late summer and early fall tones, and I couldn’t get enough of Mary’s stunning gown. And those cake servers?! So perfect! Once the sun went down, their guests spent a lot of time by the fire pit and I couldn’t resist capturing their rings against that cozy fire pit backdrop!
Mary and Jeremy, your wedding was a dream come true, and I feel so privileged to have been part of such a special day. Your love for each other is undeniable, and your celebration was a perfect reflection of that.
