When Addison and Nikolas asked us to be their wedding photographers, we were so excited! Their wedding at Viewpoint Hotel was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments—and we were there to capture it all.

The afternoon of the wedding was full of positive energy and excitement. Addy, along with her mom, mother-in-law, bridesmaids, and new sisters-in-law, got ready in a gorgeous house just across the street from the Viewpoint Hotel. The room was buzzing with laughter, happy chatter, and the kind of joy you only experience on a wedding day. It was such a fun environment to photograph—there wasn’t a hint of nerves in the air, just pure happiness!

Once Addy slipped into her stunning dress, it was time for some very special first looks. First, she shared a sweet moment with her dad, then with her bridesmaids and new sisters-in-law. Addy’s dress was simple, yet absolutely breathtaking. She described it as “beautiful and simple”—and it was the perfect choice, especially paired with her Converse sneakers! Such a fun touch that truly fit her personality.

One of the highlights of the day was Addy and Nik’s first look. You could feel the anticipation in the air, and the love between them as soon as they saw each other. Their reaction was priceless—so much joy, a little laughter, and even some emotional tears. We’re really loving this trend of private vows lately; it brings so much more meaning and connection to the moment. You can see it in the photos—their bond is undeniable. They are truly the perfect match!

Addy and Nik’s ceremony was exactly what they had hoped for—short, sweet, and filled with love. They couldn’t wait to be married, and their ceremony reflected that sense of excitement.

After their wedding, Addy and Nik took off for a dreamy honeymoon in Europe—food, romance, and adventure awaited them. It was the perfect way to start their new life together, and we’re so happy they got to celebrate in such a special way.

When I asked Addy and Nik if they had any tips or advice for future couples, their answer was priceless. “Absolutely not!” they joked. But then Addison added something really meaningful: “Control the controllables and the rest will fall into place.” That’s such a great piece of advice for anyone planning a wedding—stay focused on what you can control, and trust that everything else will work out as it’s meant to.

One of the things they mentioned enjoying most during their engagement and wedding planning was their engagement photos. Nik’s mom, Melissa, who is an incredibly talented photographer, captured their engagement session. How special is that? Not only was it a personal touch, but the photos turned out absolutely stunning! It was so meaningful to have her involved in such an important part of their journey.

Addy and Nik, your wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was an honor to be there to photograph it all.
