Erin and Alex's Wickham Park Engagement Session

It was so wonderful photographing Erin and Alex’s Wickham Park engagement session!

I’ve known Erin since she was just the tiniest and sweetest little thing! She has always been so full of life and such a happy person. Erin has grown into a young woman who is still so full of life and joy. She makes people smile. And Alex makes her smile. These two are just the cutest together. They are so in love and so comfortable with one another. It’s a beautiful thing.

Erin and Alex have known each other since high school! They are so connected! Erin says, “We often say things that the other is thinking without even knowing. It happens to us all the time and has since we got together when we were 17!”

And their proposal story!? It’s just the sweetest. Alex knew Erin would love to have their proposal photographed. (I mean, who wouldn’t, right?!) Anyway, this thoughtful man made sure Erin would be picture ready, by proposing to her on Thanksgiving, when she would already be all dressed up for her favorite holiday. Then, Alex’s sister got out her camera so they could get an image for their Christmas card. Well, the pictures weren’t quite just for Christmas! Alex’s sister got the whole proposal on camera! Erin was completely surprised!

Alex and Erin, Brian and I can’t wait to photograph you wedding next fall! You are going to have the best day ever!

Sweet Penelope 🤍

I do not get to photograph newborns often, but I truly love lifestyle newborn photography. There is something so special about slowing down and documenting these first tender days at home. Photographing Penelope’s session with her loving parents, Sarah and Tom, was such an honor.

This precious girl was an absolute angel. The only time she made a sound was when her mommy and daddy were not touching her. She clearly loves being safe in their arms, right where she belongs.

Sarah and Tom, thank you for trusting me to snuggle your beautiful baby and capture her very first photo session. Congratulations to your sweet family on the arrival of your perfect little darling.

After months of working behind the scenes on our blog, we’re so excited to continue sharing the beautiful love stories we’ve had the honor of documenting. This week, we’re featuring Jennifer and Mitchell, and their timeless Publick House Historic Inn wedding is one you won’t want to miss.

Jennifer and Mitchell’s wedding day at the Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts was the perfect blend of historic elegance, heartfelt moments, and pure joy. From getting ready onsite surrounded by buzzing excitement, to a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful, every part of the day unfolded so naturally and beautifully.

Just before the ceremony, a brief rain shower passed through- the kind they say brings good luck. Minutes later, the sun emerged, the grounds dried, and the sky transformed into something truly breathtaking. It felt cinematic in the best possible way. Add in a ceremony officiated by a close friend, the iconic Publick House bunnies making a surprise appearance, and portraits by the pond, barns, and manicured meadows, and the day was nothing short of magical.

The celebration continued with emotional and funny toasts, a choreographed first dance that had everyone smiling, and a joyful cake cutting that perfectly reflected Jennifer and Mitchell’s energy as a couple.

There is truly nothing like being in the bridal suite with the girls. As a total girlie girl, it’s one of my favorite part of the day, always full of laughter, excitement, and the kind of energy that makes you feel like you’ve just gained a whole new group of friends. Leah’s excitement was contagious, her bridesmaids had the best time getting ready, and every single one of them looked absolutely beautiful.
