Kara and Chris {Wickham Park Sunset Engagement}

I got to photograph Chris and Kara’s Wickham Park sunset engagement session last week!  Kara and Chris are seriously the best.  They are so sweet together and the love they share is so evident.  They had the most amazing sunlight.  I think the best way to describe it is magical.

Kara and Chris met a few years ago when they both lived in the same apartment building.  They actually “met” a few times.  They both joined a kickball league at the same time.  I love that they brought the shirts with them!  It’s really special when couples bring meaningful pieces with them to their engagement session.

Chris and Kara had to postpone their wedding scheduled this summer to next spring.  It was a really hard decision, but they have guests coming from all over the country, and they are the kindest, most thoughtful people.  It was important to them to celebrate with all of their family and friends.  I’m glad we got to do a summer engagement session so they’ll have two seasons of images hanging on their walls.

I am honored they chose us for their engagement and wedding photography.  Thank you, Kara and Chris.  I’m looking forward to more planning with you as next spring gets closer.
