Welcome to a sneak peek of our take on the Front Step Project. Mr. mbm and I stuck our long lenses on our cameras, went into our community, and photographed families as they followed the direction of our governor to “stay in place.” We captured many beautiful images of families on their front steps, in their yards and on their decks. As you all know, we are all currently under quarantine to keep our loved ones and other family and community members safe.
We asked families how this quarantine has affected their lives. In our next blog post, we will share some more pictures and we’ll attach real stories to the images you’ll be looking at.
You can sign up to get notified when the full “Front Step Project” blog post is published by clicking HERE, find us on Facebook HERE and on Instagram HERE. If you want to be a part of the “Front Step Project,” please sign up for email updates. I’ll send an email if we can get out again!
Update: Fox 61 came out for an interview. This was such a cool experience!! You can see that HERE. Thank you, families, for being a part of this, with us!
We would like to thank all of the families who allowed us into their front yards this past weekend. Depending on executive orders and guidelines, we may be able to go out again. If you are interested in being a part of the Front Step Project, please sign up for email updates and I’ll send an email when we’ll be out again!

Thank you, Rick. Stay safe.
I would love to have a family photo of my family taken. How would I sign up for that? What a beautiful idea you have created.
Thank you, Michelle! It wasn’t my idea, but I was thrilled to be a part of the project. Please send me an email at mbm.melanie@gmail.com. We aren’t currently going out, due to executive orders, but I’ll keep you on the list for when we do this again.
Thank you!
