Christine and Ryan {Vineyard and Beach Engagement}

I just… I just can’t. These sunset pictures at the beach might be some of my favorites that I have ever taken. At first, it seemed we were going to be completely out of luck, but then the stars aligned, a man found his heart, and we found our sunset. More on that later!

I met with Christine and Ryan at Charmard Vineyard. We started off in the barrel room downstairs. I fell in love with this room immediately. But then, Ryan did something fantastic. He opened a door! And behind that door was the most amazing wall shelf of wines. I am one hundred percent in love with this room and I love the images we got in there.

Then, it was time to head outside. The patio is so pretty! And the view from there is gorgeous. Look at that lake! And that fountain!  Love!!!  And then it was time to experience Zeke and Nala.  Speaking of barrels, they came barreling out of the parking lot and I was certain Ryan’s mother was about to end up on her belly being pulled by these two!!  But my oh my are they sweet.  They just wanted to see their Mommy and Daddy!  See those signs?  Ryan made one when he asked Christine to marry him.  Christine made the other for our session.

And of course, the car.  You can’t miss that!  After Christine, that car is really Ryan’s baby!  I have a soft spot for Camaros.  I know absolutely nothing about them, except that my husband drove one when we were dating.  But Ryan, he loves that car!  His good friends at Jackson Chevrolet even shared this picture from my Facebook page!

Finally, the beach.  It turns out, that when the beach closes at sunset, it actually closes much before sunset.  We pulled in just as the gatekeeper decided the beach was closed.  After saying, “no” a few times (or like a hundred!), Christine was able to work her magic.  She pleaded and persuaded.  And thank goodness she did, because our buddy, the gatekeeper, let us in!
