Brittany and Troy {Wickham Park Elopement}

Brittany & Troy’s Intimate Wickham Park Elopement Ceremony

Some wedding days are filled with hundreds of guests and packed timelines. Others are intentionally quiet, deeply personal, and centered around what matters most.

Brittany and Troy’s intimate elopement ceremony at Wickham Park was exactly that.

Surrounded only by their immediate family on a perfect spring afternoon, these two celebrated six years of partnership in a way that felt authentic to who they are – relaxed, meaningful, and full of love.

As a Connecticut elopement photographer and officiant, these are the kinds of wedding days that remind me why intimate weddings can feel so incredibly powerful.

A Beautiful Spring Elopement at Wickham Park

Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut created the perfect setting for Brittany and Troy’s ceremony.

The gardens were beginning to bloom, the spring air was warm without being too hot, and everything about the day felt peaceful. Their closest family gathered quietly in the garden as Brittany and Troy exchanged vows surrounded by nature and the people who know them best.

One of the things I loved most about their ceremony was how true it felt to their relationship.

Brittany and Troy chose an intimate celebration that focused entirely on their connection and the life they’ve already built together.

A Relationship Built on Steady Support

During their ceremony, we reflected on what makes their relationship so special: the feeling of “home.”

Not grand gestures.
Not perfection.
But steady, unwavering partnership.

Together, they described their relationship as loving, silly, respectful, and deeply accepting. They admire each other’s passions, support one another’s goals, and embrace the little quirks that make their relationship uniquely theirs.

Their wedding day wasn’t about becoming something new. It was about honoring the partnership they had already spent years building.

Their Intimate Garden Ceremony

Their ceremony was simple, emotional, and heartfelt.

As immediate family looked on, Brittany and Troy exchanged traditional vows and rings in the garden surrounded by spring blooms.

One of my favorite moments was hearing them promise to continue supporting each other’s dreams and passions while cherishing the quiet life they’ve created together.

Their ceremony perfectly reflected what an elopement can be:
intentional, meaningful, and completely personal.

And after officially being pronounced husband and wife, Troy finally got to kiss his bride as their family celebrated around them.

Champagne Toasts & Portraits in the Gardens

After the ceremony, everyone gathered together for a celebratory champagne toast.

It felt relaxed and joyful. It was the kind of moment where everyone could simply be present together.

While their family spent time enjoying the gardens, we explored Wickham Park for portraits as newlyweds. The soft spring light, blooming flowers, and peaceful atmosphere made every part of the afternoon feel incredibly romantic.

Wickham Park is truly one of the best Connecticut elopement locations for couples looking for beautiful gardens, scenic views, and a quiet atmosphere for an intimate wedding day.
