Meaghan {Senior - Family Farm} - mbm weddings

Meaghan is a CT High School Class of 2020 Senior! Meaghan and I met up at her family’s farm in East Granby, CT to take some senior portraits. After graduation, Meaghan plans to major in marine biology when she attends college next fall. She is such a great girl- kind, smart and beautiful. She will be successful in anything she pursues!

This was an extra special and fun session for me, because we were here a couple of years ago for Meaghan’s older sister’s senior session. I think Meaghan had a completely different experience and I’m so glad we were able to use land special to her family for more family portraits.

This farm is special to the family, as it is the childhood home of Meaghan’s father and Meaghan (and her family) have always worked on and helped take care of this farm. One of Meaghan’s jobs was to take care of the hay, so we needed to get a picture in the spot where Meaghan has spent so many hours.

The hay, grasses and the barns on the land are so gorgeous. And the pond in the back is beautiful. I love how the trees in the background reflect in the water.

Meaghan, thank you so much for trusting me with your senior portraits. You were amazing!

Sweet Penelope 🤍

I do not get to photograph newborns often, but I truly love lifestyle newborn photography. There is something so special about slowing down and documenting these first tender days at home. Photographing Penelope’s session with her loving parents, Sarah and Tom, was such an honor.

This precious girl was an absolute angel. The only time she made a sound was when her mommy and daddy were not touching her. She clearly loves being safe in their arms, right where she belongs.

Sarah and Tom, thank you for trusting me to snuggle your beautiful baby and capture her very first photo session. Congratulations to your sweet family on the arrival of your perfect little darling.

Jennifer and Mitchell’s wedding day at the Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts was the perfect blend of historic elegance, heartfelt moments, and pure joy. From getting ready onsite surrounded by buzzing excitement, to a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful, every part of the day unfolded so naturally and beautifully.

Just before the ceremony, a brief rain shower passed through- the kind they say brings good luck. Minutes later, the sun emerged, the grounds dried, and the sky transformed into something truly breathtaking. It felt cinematic in the best possible way. Add in a ceremony officiated by a close friend, the iconic Publick House bunnies making a surprise appearance, and portraits by the pond, barns, and manicured meadows, and the day was nothing short of magical.

The celebration continued with emotional and funny toasts, a choreographed first dance that had everyone smiling, and a joyful cake cutting that perfectly reflected Jennifer and Mitchell’s energy as a couple.

There is truly nothing like being in the bridal suite with the girls.
