Alex {Harkness Park Senior}

I can’t believe Alex is a senior!  This darling little girl has grown into such a beautiful, sweet, talented high school senior.  Up until a few weeks ago, this is how I still pictured sweet little Alessandra in my mind:  Eleven years old, such a cutie, the best crazy curly blond hair, the most amazing little mother’s helper.  Here we are with another friend (Shout out to DJ and her boys!) strawberry picking the year I met Alex.  Not sure who to give photo credit to here, but they sure could rock a cell phone camera!  🙂

About a year ago, Alex’s mom sent me a picture of a sunflower field, and said “THIS is where we’re doing Alex’s senior pictures!”  It turns out once the time came, we chose a different park, but we still found some sunflowers!  Which is absolutely perfect, because Alex is her mom’s sunshine.

Alex’s parents dropped her off and went out while we took over this park!  We found so many little hidden gems inside Harkness Park.  I’ve been to this park a few times, but the flowers there that evening and the light we had were truly magical!  And then, once you added in Alex’s beauty (not just on the outside, by the way) we just couldn’t go wrong.

We made a plan to start up top with the flowers and then head to the beach at sunset because the light at that time is amazing.  What I wasn’t counting on, but what we got, was amazing sun throughout the park.  The light was gorgeous everywhere!  And with Alex’s fun personality, we got the best images!

Alex, thank you for choosing me to take your senior pictures.  Congratulations to you and good luck in all you do!  I’ll be rooting for you!
