Oh sweet Newborn Andrew. This is why I know you’re a very lucky boy. Your mommy and daddy are truly spectacular people and they are two of the kindest, most thoughtful and most considerate people I know. They love each other so much and they already are more in love with you than they thought was even possible.
I was thrilled when Jen and Geoff said they wanted me to come to the hospital to photograph their first few days as a family of three. When I got that text that I should plan to head to the hospital within the next day or so, I was so excited! I *may* have woken up my husband to tell him the news…
Lifestyle photography is my favorite type of family photography. In lifestyle photography, I photograph you, as you are, in this moment in your lives. Jen and Geoff wanted a Fresh 48 session. For their session, I went to the hospital and visited them in their room. Being there with them brought back memories of being in the same hospital, when my son, Andrew, was born.
I met Jen and Geoff a few years ago when they began planning their wedding. You can see their engagement session HERE and their wedding HERE. Check out that engagement session. It was epic. Trust me! And Jen surprised Geoff with that location! (Remember when I told you that they are so thoughtful? How many people do you know surprise their fiances with an engagement session at Fenway?!)
Geoff and Jen, again I thank you. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. Thank you for allowing me to witness and photograph your most important events.
Darling Andrew, welcome to the world.
