Way back in the early 2000s, I had Francesca in my first-grade classroom. She was a sweet, kind, funny, adorable and smart little girl. In the past 10 years, she has stayed all of those things, except scratch that little girl comment, as she has become a beautiful young woman. Francesca is graduating from high school this year and I don’t know how she has changed so much, and her mother, my friend Paula, and I look exactly as we did back then!
We drove down to a Connecticut beach one summer evening. When we got to the beach, Francesca told me about her outfits. I got more and more excited as she explained each one. She really chose some perfect outfits for her senior portraits! I was most excited to have her in some of her dance attire.
Francesca did an amazing job! There was not a pose or a look that she could not give me. And then, in her dancing dresses, I could not believe what she could do. This girl can dance! I guess that’s what happens when you’ve taken lessons for your entire life!
Francesca, I am truly honored that you asked me to take your senior portraits. You have turned into such a beautiful young lady and I wish you all the success in the world as you head to college and beyond. Please keep in touch with your favorite teacher of all time!
