Laura and Ben {Wickham Park Wedding} - mbm weddings

Aw, Laura! Laura and I go way back, all the way back, 20 years ago, to mini-skirts and roller skates! (Or is this something I’m not supposed to admit to on the internet?!) When I saw that Laura was engaged to Ben, I was so happy for her!!! And him too! Because Laura is the BEST! When they asked me to photograph their wedding, I just couldn’t have been more excited!

Laura is a teacher. She teaches kindergarten, which is by far, the hardest grade to teach! She rocks it and her students love her! A couple of her children even came to the wedding!

Their wedding was perfect. They did their first look in the garden at the top of Wickham Park. Ben’s face. Everybody go ahead and “awwwww” with me. How happy does he look?! So sweet, right?

The ceremony was great! So much laughter!! I love it when couples have their most important people do readings and be a part of their ceremony. It makes the wedding ceremony so personal, so fun and even more full of love.

Laura and Ben did their first dance in the cabin with all of their guests surrounding them. Then, it was time for cake and a candy bar! Yum! I love candy bars. I love candy, but I also love taking ring shots on the candy. Look at how cool that image came out!

Their wedding really was full of love and laughter and I’m honored to have been a part of it. Thank you, Laura and Ben. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.

Sweet Penelope 🤍

I do not get to photograph newborns often, but I truly love lifestyle newborn photography. There is something so special about slowing down and documenting these first tender days at home. Photographing Penelope’s session with her loving parents, Sarah and Tom, was such an honor.

This precious girl was an absolute angel. The only time she made a sound was when her mommy and daddy were not touching her. She clearly loves being safe in their arms, right where she belongs.

Sarah and Tom, thank you for trusting me to snuggle your beautiful baby and capture her very first photo session. Congratulations to your sweet family on the arrival of your perfect little darling.

After months of working behind the scenes on our blog, we’re so excited to continue sharing the beautiful love stories we’ve had the honor of documenting. This week, we’re featuring Jennifer and Mitchell, and their timeless Publick House Historic Inn wedding is one you won’t want to miss.

Jennifer and Mitchell’s wedding day at the Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts was the perfect blend of historic elegance, heartfelt moments, and pure joy. From getting ready onsite surrounded by buzzing excitement, to a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful, every part of the day unfolded so naturally and beautifully.

Just before the ceremony, a brief rain shower passed through- the kind they say brings good luck. Minutes later, the sun emerged, the grounds dried, and the sky transformed into something truly breathtaking. It felt cinematic in the best possible way. Add in a ceremony officiated by a close friend, the iconic Publick House bunnies making a surprise appearance, and portraits by the pond, barns, and manicured meadows, and the day was nothing short of magical.

The celebration continued with emotional and funny toasts, a choreographed first dance that had everyone smiling, and a joyful cake cutting that perfectly reflected Jennifer and Mitchell’s energy as a couple.
