Jess and Dan (and their dog!) {Engaged!}

There are times in a photographer’s life when she meets a couple and knows instantaneously that she MUST be the one to photograph them. That’s how it was when I met Jess and Dan. Actually, to be very honest, I met them about two years ago at Jessica’s best friend’s wedding. See? I took this picture!

Oh, and by the way, Jess is quite a dancer! While scrolling through to find this image, I found a whole bunch of Jess showing off her moves!!! I love it!

Thanks for getting us hooked up, Jen and Geoff!

But anyway, back to the first time we got to talk! Jess and Dan came to my showroom so we could meet and talk about their wedding plans. Before they left, we had already chosen a date and a location for their engagement pictures.

Then, Jess asked if they could bring their dog, Mia, a two-year-old boxer. YES! I love dogs in portrait sessions!!! Angela, Jessica’s sister brought the puppy after we had hit a few locations. I even got Mia to smile! That’s right, I sure did! After a few spots with Mia, Angela brought her home so we could finish the just people pictures. Thanks, Angela! It was great meeting you!

Jess and Dan even brought some signs that they (and Angela!) made. I love those personal touches.

Jess and Dan, thank you for coming out! I had so much fun with you and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding!

She said YES! Nicki and Drew’s holiday proposal was pure magic. The glow of the lights, the emotion, and the joy were everything. See the full story on the blog. Link in bio.
Merry Christmas, from our hearts to yours.

As a husband and wife team, it is an honor and a privilege to witness love in its most intimate form, two people choosing each other, choosing forever. This season, we are reminded that true luxury is not found in things, but in moments: the quiet exchange of vows, the warmth of a hand held tightly, the feeling of home found in another person.

May your holidays be wrapped in beauty, elegance, and the presence of those you call family. Whether your celebration is a private elopement beneath winter skies or a gathering held close by candlelight, may love be at the center of every memory you keep.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for trusting us with the moments that will become your family legacy. We are deeply grateful.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with magic, and a new year overflowing with devotion, connection, and timeless love.
