I met Kristin and Chris about a year before their wedding. (Fun fact! Kristin is a fellow photographer and we’ve had fun talking about cameras!!) We did their engagement portraits at Gillette Castle. While we were taking their pictures, Chris said, “Hey! I think that’s the yacht club!” And wouldn’t you know it, you could see their wedding venue from the castle! How cool is that? You can see their engagement session HERE.
It was really nice getting to know Chris, Kristin and Lindsey during the planning process. When I showed up at Kristin’s mother’s house on the day of their wedding, I felt like I was visiting with old friends. By the way, it’s crazy how quickly a pre-teen girl goes from an adorable little kid to a beautiful young lady and the perfect junior bridesmaid!
I loved their first look. Well, truth be told, I love all the first looks! But this one really was fun!! Chris was reaching back and trying to touch his bride as she got closer. He couldn’t wait for me to tell him to turn around! It was so cute.
Kristin and Chris had a wonderful wedding ceremony. There was laughter, sweet tears, loving looks. Their good friend married them. At one point, during the vows, a yacht sailed by, sounded it’s horn and the passengers cheered and screamed out. It was the best! Chris, Kristin, the bridal party, the guests, the photographers (!!) laughed.
The reception was great! The guests spent time inside and outside. The decor was beautiful. The dancing was a blast!
I’ll let the pictures tell you the rest of the story.
