Hey! We’re Melanie and Brian, and we’re so glad you’re here! We’re a husband and wife team who are deeply passionate about love, connection, and capturing the moments that matter most. Since getting married ourselves back in 2005 (check out that throwback wedding photo!), we’ve poured our hearts into documenting weddings, elopements, and love stories of all kinds.

Based in Connecticut, we photograph elopements and intimate weddings all over New England, and we love to travel for destination weddings around the world, too!
Meet Melanie
Hi! I’m Melanie, your go-to gal from the very first email to the final delivery of your wedding gallery. I’m a photographer and a licensed Justice of the Peace, which means I can legally officiate your elopement or intimate wedding and then photograph it, too! I’m known for bringing calm to chaotic moments and keeping your day running smoothly. I love helping you plan, create your timeline, and design heirloom albums and wall art to remember your day. I’m a Broadway-loving, travel-obsessed mom of two, and I can’t wait to hear your love story and help bring your wedding vision to life.
Meet Brian
Brian is our behind-the-scenes magic maker. You may not meet him until the big day, but when you do, you’ll be amazed at how effortlessly he captures the quiet, emotional, and unscripted moments, without ever interrupting them.
He's our candid king. He is the master of stealth and natural light. Brian has a background in music and video game soundtrack design, which gives him a unique creative eye and quiet confidence. He’s also a golf-loving, animal-snuggling dad of two who brings steady calm and artistic talent to every wedding we photograph.

I do not get to photograph newborns often, but I truly love lifestyle newborn photography. There is something so special about slowing down and documenting these first tender days at home. Photographing Penelope’s session with her loving parents, Sarah and Tom, was such an honor.
This precious girl was an absolute angel. The only time she made a sound was when her mommy and daddy were not touching her. She clearly loves being safe in their arms, right where she belongs.

Sydni & Filip’s intimate Wickham Park wedding was filled with intention, presence, and so much love. Surrounded by blooming gardens and their closest people, they took their time, soaked it all in, and focused on what mattered most- getting married.
This day was heartfelt, meaningful, and beautifully true to who they are. So honored to be the ones to document it.

After months of working behind the scenes on our blog, we’re so excited to continue sharing the beautiful love stories we’ve had the honor of documenting. This week, we’re featuring Jennifer and Mitchell, and their timeless Publick House Historic Inn wedding is one you won’t want to miss.
Jennifer and Mitchell’s wedding day at the Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts was the perfect blend of historic elegance, heartfelt moments, and pure joy. From getting ready onsite surrounded by buzzing excitement, to a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful, every part of the day unfolded so naturally and beautifully.
Just before the ceremony, a brief rain shower passed through- the kind they say brings good luck. Minutes later, the sun emerged, the grounds dried, and the sky transformed into something truly breathtaking. It felt cinematic in the best possible way. Add in a ceremony officiated by a close friend, the iconic Publick House bunnies making a surprise appearance, and portraits by the pond, barns, and manicured meadows, and the day was nothing short of magical.
The celebration continued with emotional and funny toasts, a choreographed first dance that had everyone smiling, and a joyful cake cutting that perfectly reflected Jennifer and Mitchell’s energy as a couple.
We’re so honored to have been their wedding photographers and to tell their story through these timeless and romantic images.

Ever since our new blog site went live, I’ve been deep in blog catch-up mode. And, while working on Leah & Nick’s post, I completely lost track of time looking through the bridal prep images.
There is truly nothing like being in the bridal suite with the girls. As a total girlie girl, it’s one of my favorite part of the day, always full of laughter, excitement, and the kind of energy that makes you feel like you’ve just gained a whole new group of friends. Leah’s excitement was contagious, her bridesmaids had the best time getting ready, and every single one of them looked absolutely beautiful.
