After 15 incredible years of photographing weddings together, we—Melanie and Brian—have something exciting to share.
Over the years, we’ve had the honor of capturing hundreds of love stories. From the very first meeting with our couples to that moment they walk down the aisle and say “I do,” every second has been pure magic. We’ve laughed, cried, celebrated, and danced right alongside so many of you. Being trusted to document one of the most important days of your life has been the greatest gift.
But recently, something new has sparked a fresh kind of joy in us: elopements and intimate weddings.
There is something so special, so deeply personal, about stripping a wedding down to just the essentials—your love, your story, and the few people who mean the absolute world to you. We’ve fallen head over heels for the authenticity and intentionality that come with these smaller celebrations. It’s not about less—it’s about more of what really matters.
After diving into some amazing educational courses and collaborating with fellow creatives in this space, we’re thrilled to announce that we are officially transitioning our wedding photography business to focus on elopements and intimate weddings. Whether it’s an epic mountaintop adventure, a quiet ceremony in the woods, or a backyard celebration surrounded by your closest people, we are here for it—all of it.
And guess what? We’ve got a little bonus for our Connecticut couples: Melanie is also a licensed justice of the peace! That means we can photograph your day and make it official. How amazing is that?
