Amanda and Sam tied the knot on a picture-perfect fall day at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown, Connecticut. The crisp autumn air set the stage for a celebration filled with love, laughter, and heartwarming moments.
Their color palette was a sight to behold. The wedding party donned elegant shades of blush, perfectly complementing Amanda’s breathtaking dress. It was a vision of pure romance, with the flowing blush fabric and delicate sleeves adding a touch of whimsy.
The first look on the charming little island was pure magic. Bathed in soft, dreamy light, Amanda and Sam were so emotional they saw each other on their wedding day. Tears welled up in Sam’s eyes, and the heartfelt moment had everyone, including the photographers, feeling the love.
Although we had chilly temperatures and wind, Amanda and Sam’s joyful spirits weren’t dampened in the slightest. Their amazing family and friends embraced the spirit of the day, ensuring the celebration remained vibrant and full of merriment.
The sun gave us the most gorgeous fall hues, and Amanda and Sam’s portraits took on a whole new dimension. The golden light danced on Amanda’s hair, creating stunning images that captured the essence of their love story. The sun, the colors, and the genuine friendship and love radiating from this group made for truly enchanting pictures.
The ceremony was officiated by their Sam’s cousin, and she did a remarkable job! The ceremony was personalized and fun. They also had some other close friends and family members do special readings. It truly was a lovely ceremony!
The reception was a non-stop party! The DJ kept the crowd moving on the dance floor all night long, with these amazing guests showcasing their impressive moves. We had a blast capturing the energy and joy of the celebration, creating unforgettable dancefloor snapshots. And something extra special for us? This was the first time ever that a DJ played mine and Brian’s wedding song!
And let’s not forget the adorable cake! A delightful nod to their beloved feline companions, Boo and Pumpkin, the cake was the perfect finish to a perfect day.
After a whirlwind of emotions and joyous celebrations, Amanda and Sam embarked on a mini-moon to the idyllic Von Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont. It was the perfect prelude to their grand honeymoon adventure in Austria later in 2024, where they’ll explore the charming cities of Salzburg and Vienna.
Amanda and Sam, your wedding was a beautiful testament to your love and the joy you bring to each other. It was an honor to capture the magic of your day, from the emotional first look to the wild dancing and heartwarming moments in between. We wish you a lifetime of happiness as you embark on this new chapter together!
