Lauren and Justin {West Hartford Reservoir Engagement}

Brian and I had such a great time photographing Lauren and Justin’s West Hartford Reservoir engagement session! This session had been postponed so many times! On this night, the weather forecast looked iffy (again!), but we decided to go for it. And it was INCREDIBLE! The weather was perfect. We were able to explore the woodsy areas, the water and the tall grass. Lauren and Justin are so in love! Brian and I found a new spot that we loved photographing in! We had the best conversation and we all had so much fun!

Brian met Justin a couple of years ago at work, and when Justin and Lauren first became engaged, Justin told Brian right away and we made plans to meet up! We had a great time at that first meeting talking about how they met, their proposal story and their plans for their wedding.

Lauren and Justin travel a lot! Their first date was in Manhattan and when we asked them about a special moment from their dating story, they mentioned a New Hampshire trip. They said they spent time in Portsmouth and the beach, and just really enjoyed being with one another.

Justin had been planning on proposing to Lauren. He said he had that intuitive feeling right away. In fact, even though he had plans for a proposal, one night, he just couldn’t wait any longer and just wanted to be engaged. So, he made a split-second decision to just ask her. Of course, she said yes. And the rest is history!

Congratulations, Lauren and Justin, on your engagement! We are so excited to be a part of your story and we can’t wait for your New Hampshire wedding later this year!
