Rachel and Andy {Backyard Wedding}

Rachel and Andy had an incredible backyard wedding at Andy’s family’s home in Connecticut. Typically, when you think of a backyard wedding, you think of a more intimate type of gathering. Well, nope! Andy’s family threw Andy and Rachel the biggest and best party you could ever imagine!

Do you notice the New Year’s Eve decor? Well, let’s rewind a few months, to early December, 2021. Rachel and I were talking over zoom about their amazing plans for their NYE in Portland, Maine wedding. They had thought of everything! They had blow horns for midnight, as well as a champagne toast planned. And then, covid. Covid happened. Covid happened to so many wonderful people and their amazing plans.

You’ll also notice there is a photo on the card table of Andy and Rachel all dressed up in their wedding clothes. You know what I love about this couple? They were not about to let covid change their plans or dictate how they celebrate their love. The family got in their cars, drove up to Maine (where Andy’s sister, Emma, was ordained) and they got married, with their immediate family surrounding them with love and joy.

Their family was not about to let this incredible couple and their beautiful love go uncelebrated. So… New Year’s Eve wedding in August!

She said YES! Nicki and Drew’s holiday proposal was pure magic. The glow of the lights, the emotion, and the joy were everything. See the full story on the blog. Link in bio.
Merry Christmas, from our hearts to yours.

As a husband and wife team, it is an honor and a privilege to witness love in its most intimate form, two people choosing each other, choosing forever. This season, we are reminded that true luxury is not found in things, but in moments: the quiet exchange of vows, the warmth of a hand held tightly, the feeling of home found in another person.

May your holidays be wrapped in beauty, elegance, and the presence of those you call family. Whether your celebration is a private elopement beneath winter skies or a gathering held close by candlelight, may love be at the center of every memory you keep.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for trusting us with the moments that will become your family legacy. We are deeply grateful.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with magic, and a new year overflowing with devotion, connection, and timeless love.
