I’ve been photographing this family for a couple of years now. I started when Kenzie was barely talking and now here she is, playing to the camera. And Lainey, who is turning nine years old! I know every parent asks this question, but really- where does the time go?! I feel so honored that I get to be the one to take these girls’ portraits every year.
Like usual, I met Dr. Pappas, his wife, Kim, their girls, and their dog, Ally, at their house. Their backyard is beautiful. I love home sessions because the location couldn’t be more meaningful to the family.
After we got our Christmas images of the family and the kids, I got a few minutes to take Lainey around to celebrate turning nine! Lainey is in my son’s class as school, and she is one of the sweetest little girls you could ever meet. I’m secretly hoping they get married some day!
