Just moments after Sophie said “yes,” we explored the shoreline, rocky coastline, and stunning ocean views of Enders Island to capture their first portraits as an engaged couple. The result was a session filled with genuine joy, happy tears, laughter, and that unmistakable “just engaged” glow.
From Surprise Proposal to Engagement Session
A few weeks before their trip to Mystic, Stjepan reached out with a plan.
He wanted to propose to Sophie during their vacation and was searching for a location that felt romantic, scenic, and memorable enough for one of the biggest moments of their lives.
After discussing several options, we landed on Enders Island.
Nestled along the Connecticut shoreline, Enders Island offers some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in New England. With sweeping water views, dramatic rock formations, and a peaceful atmosphere, it provided the perfect backdrop for a proposal that felt both intimate and cinematic.
When the moment arrived, Sophie was completely surprised.
As Stjepan got down on one knee overlooking the water, her reaction was pure joy. The excitement, emotion, and love between them were impossible to miss.
And once she said yes, we immediately transitioned into their engagement session.
